This gorgeous new build near Washington D.C. needed a little character and old world charm to warm up the kitchen, so we created this amazing sapele end grain countertop for them. Between the beautiful iridescent quartersawn markings and the beautiful array of colors, this is definitely a conversation piece!

This locally harvested quartersawn red oak made a big statement in this kitchen! The client was able to install legs and add bar stools to the island. This substantial edge grain butcher block will withstand years of Holiday celebrations with the family.
