Odds and Ends

At AA & BEEK, we love to experiment with new products.  We get many requests to create wooden pieces for specific needs.  If you have a unique idea, contact us!  Here is a gallery of some of the unique wooden items we have created for our clients.

This is a 100% handcrafted ulu knife.  BEEK grew up in North Pole, Alaska and the ulu knife is a classic knife in every household.  The blade was handcrafted by Paul Tynan with Tynan Blade Works in rural Nova Scotia.  The wooden handle was made by using a piece from our multi-colored end grain cutting boards. Artistic and functional!

Here is a folding step stool made from solid walnut and cherry.  The client wanted a stool that could be easily accessible in the kitchen but also compact so they could store it nearby.  This is the awesome result!

This is an interlocking nightstand organizer.  Our client wanted to give her husband a birthday gift to help him keep track of all his personal belongings.  BEEK can relate because he usually spends an extra 10 minutes every day looking for his wallet and keys!  This organizer is beautiful and functional.

We absolutely love animals and we think animals should be able to eat with a little class.  This dog bowl stand is made from 1920's barnwood.  The client had 2 growing puppies that needed to spice up their eating arrangements!
